Stay Busy Mama

Hello! I don't know who might read this but here goes.....

I want to start blogging about the life of a stay busy mama. From the poop to the strawberry stained legs this blog will include it all.

A couple of things about myself... I am a proud Irish Catholic girl married to a Dutch man.

My husband, Sander, is from the Netherlands and we were married in 2003. He is a service engineer for ASM at Intel (ask me how we met, interesting story….). We have two beautiful daughters, Nelleke 4 and Annelies 1 ½. I am a native Oregonian who grew up in Albany and went to Oregon State University. GO BEAVS!!!!!! I have a B.S in Business Administration with an option in Management Information Systems. I have lived in Portland for 12 years.

Prior to having kids, I was a systems consultant at Accenture and adidas. These jobs allowed me to travel a lot and work with many different people. I have worked in Atlanta, Seattle, Germany, China and Hong Kong. I consider myself good with computers, but not a techie. I also consider myself a youth minister. I worked in high school and middle school ministry at my church (St. Pius X Catholic Church) where I am very active with various ministries such as Church Ladies Bible Study, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School teacher, Baby Corner and Elizabeth Ministries. I really enjoy working with youth and love to teach! I hope to someday work/volunteer full time using my gifts as a teacher, minister and friend.

I enjoy many things…spending time with friends and family, camping, reading, going to Beaver football games, dancing, traveling, Facebooking, cooking, ministering, loving, laughing and having fun!!! My girls are my pride and joy and I love to spend time together as a family doing things we love.
